7.5 Tonne Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role involves heavy lifting and multidrop.

Hours:-6am -2pm Monday to Friday (must be flexible to work until 4pm and overtime)

Pay:14.ph

• Operate a 7.5 tonne lorry for the delivery of goods to various locations
• Loading and unloading of heavy stock
• Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns

Experience

• Proven experience as a multi-drop delivery driver, preferably with a background in commercial driving
• Familiarity with flatbed vehicles is highly desirable
• A valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for a 7.5 tonne vehicle
• CPC Card
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently
