7.5 Tonne Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for several dedicated 7.5 Tonne Driver (Cat C1 ) to join the team.

Hours:-Monday to Friday, 07:00am start until around 10:00am (paid minimum 4 hours)-

Start Date: 20.03.2026

Pay Rate:14.85 per hour PAYE

Location:-Carlisle, CA3-

Job Type: Minimum 4 week contract, potentially leading to ongoing work

The role:

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to sub depots or delivery/collection units.-high value goods.-
• 1 drpp per shift - Carlisle to Distington-
• Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the roll cages from the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement (7.5 Tonne).
• 6 months experience required-
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
