7.5 Tonne Driver Location: Bedford / KempstonPay Rate: 15.63 per hourStart Date: ASAPContract: Temporary to OngoingWorking Days: Monday to Friday (Weekend work available)Shift Times: Day shifts starting at 6:00 AM or 10:00 AMThe RoleWe are currently recruiting experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers for a temporary ongoing position based in Bedford/Kempston. This role involves delivering a variety of white goods, brown goods, and bulky household items directly to customers'' homes while providing excellent customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesDriving a 7.5-tonne vehicle safely and efficiently.Delivering white goods, brown goods, and other bulky household items to customers'' homes.Manual handling and lifting of items weighing up to 80-90kg as part of a two-person delivery team where required.Carrying goods into customers'' properties and placing them in the requested room.Completing delivery paperwork and following company procedures.Providing a professional and friendly service at every delivery.RequirementsValid UK Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence.Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.We are committed to fair and inclusive recruitment.
