Job title: 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver
Job type: Temporary (for around 4-6 weeks)
Location: Letchworth Garden City
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm (4pm Friday finish)
Hourly rate: £14.00 per hour
 
Our well known client based in Letchworth Garden City are currently looking for a qualified 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver to join their team on a 4-6 week temporary basis, to cover someone who is off on long-term sick leave. The successful candidate must be available immediately and open to short term Temporary opportunities. 
 
Duties as a 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver:
- Delivering finished production to local postcodes within the South-East region 
- Loading and unloading the vans/trucks, lifting and moving heavy loads
- Quality checking finished production before shipping
- Checking delivery order sheets, ensuring the correct orders are being processed
- Daily van/truck checks
 
What''s needed as a 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver:
- A valid Category C1 license 
- Previous delivery driving experience is essential
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
- Must be available immediately and open to Temporary opportunities
- A good understanding of certain materials such as wood, plastics, and sheet metal is desirable
