About the Role

Pertemps is recruiting a 7.5 Ton Driver to represent Parcelforce Worldwide in London, offering £15.95 per hour on a full-time contract. Your role involves safely operating a 7.5-tonne Royal Mail vehicle on designated routes, loading and unloading mail and parcels, and delivering them to distribution points and local teams. Daily vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness are key responsibilities. You must provide professional customer service. A full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement and no more than six points is required, alongside essential previous experience driving 7.5T vehicles. Good route knowledge is also necessary for this position.

Your Role

Drive a 7.5-tonne Royal Mail vehicle safely and responsibly on assigned routes.
Load and unload mail and parcels efficiently.
Deliver mail and parcels to distribution points and local delivery teams.
Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
Provide excellent customer service and represent Royal Mail professionally.

Requirements

Full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5T) with no more than 6 points.
Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle essential.
Good knowledge of Rotherham and surrounding areas.
Physically fit with ability to lift parcels up to 20kg.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Ability to pass a DBS (criminal background) check.
You will also need to provide a Valid Tachograph card.
