6G TIG Welder

Job Title: 6G TIG Welder
Location: Walsall, West Midlands
Duration: Ongoing Contract or Permanent (Optional)

We are currently recruiting for TIG welders who have experience in welding tubular pressure parts to X-Ray standard.

The daily duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Coded welding.
* 6G Welding position.
* Welding of stainless and carbon steel tubes and plates.
* Positional welding on pressure vessels, pressure parts and superheater pipework.

The Ideal Candidate:
* Will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
* Be confident with 6G TIG welding.
* Previous qualifications/coding''s.
* Weld trade test will be required which will be x-rayed.
* Will be able for his butt welds to pass X-ray. DPI and MPI.

Working Hours (Optional):
* Days - 08:00 to 16:30 (Monday to Friday)
* Nights - 17:30 to 03:30 (Monday to Thursday)

Overtime:
* Weekday x1.3
* Saturday x1.5
* Sunday x2

Pay Rates:
* Days - -25.00 (UMB) or -19.07 (PAYE)
* Nights - -30.00 (UMB) or -22.88 (PAYE)

We can also offer permanent positions at -17.00 per hour. This is optional once you pass a weld test.
