You''ll be involved throughout the machining process, from programming and setting through to proving out, inspection and continuous improvement.The company can offer flexibility around shifts, with either a day shift or double-day shift available depending on preference. The RoleAs a 5 Axis CNC Mill Turn Programmer, your responsibilities will include:Setting, operating, editing and programming 5-axis CNC Mill Turn machines, including Mori Seiki / Puma MX.Programming using CAD/CAM software including Alphacam/Kreo, alongside Fanuc controls.Setting tooling, offsets and workholding.Proving out new programmes and ensuring components are manufactured to specification.Optimising toolpaths, machining methods and cycle times.Carrying out component inspection using micrometers, verniers/callipers and CMM equipment.Reading and working from engineering drawings and technical specifications.Working ..... full job details .....
