3rd Line IT Support Engineer I am working with a leading company who is seeking an experienced 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to join their IT team. This role involves providing high-level technical support, maintaining and upgrading the company''s infrastructure, and acting as an escalation point for complex IT issues. Reporting to the IT Manager, you''ll work closely with other IT team members and interface with stakeholders across all levels of the business. Coming into the role you will be responsible for resolving complex IT issues, maintaining cloud infrastructure, enhancing cyber security measures, and mentoring junior support staff. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional technical support and guidance to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving complex IT-related issues. Maintain, upgrade, and manage the company''s software, hardware, and network infrastructure. Focus on cyber security best practices, responding to incidents and conducting regular security monitoring alongside the IT Security team. Develop and deliver training to 1st and 2nd line support engineers to enhance their technical capabilities. Respond to and manage major incidents, communicating effectively across the business and collaborating with 3rd party support teams. Provide technical expertise within IT projects, offering direction for development, design, and systems integration. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all systems.
