3rd Line Network Engineer

We are looking for a 3rd Line Systems Engineer to join a well-established independent school supporting a modern IT infrastructure environment. This is a hands on senior technical role working across networking, virtualisation, Microsoft 365 and cybersecurity, offered on a permanent basis paying up to £52,000 per annum DOEThis role would suit a senior infrastructure engineer, systems engineer, or experienced school Network Manager who enjoys solving complex technical problems while contributing to infrastructure improvements and long term IT strategy.Main ResponsibilitiesMaintain and optimise enterprise network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, wireless networks and VPN connectivitySupport VMware virtualisation environments and core server infrastructureManage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams and SharePointSupport Azure AD identity and access managementDeliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations and system improvementsAct as escalation point for complex infrastructure issuesSkills / Experience RequiredStrong infrastructure and networking experienceMicrosoft 365 administration experienceVMware or similar virtualisation experienceActive Directory and Group Policy administrationStrong troubleshooting skills across enterprise environmentsIf you are looking for your next step as a 3rd Line Systems Engineer, apply today to learn more. ..... full job details .....
