About the Role

As a 3D Print Technician based in Aylesbury, you will join Pertemps Milton Keynes on a full-time, permanent basis earning £16 per hour. Your primary role involves washing, cleaning, and finishing 3D printed components to exacting standards for industries including automotive and aerospace. You will ensure customer parts are produced and delivered with precision, operating within a production department focused on additive manufacturing. This hands-on position requires practical engineering skills and attention to detail, with duties centred on achieving high-quality surface finishes on functional components.

Job Title: 3D Printing Technician (Additive Manufacturing)
We are seeking a motivated, hands-on 3D Printing Technician to join a growing advanced manufacturing team producing high-quality functional parts for demanding industries such as automotive, motorsport, subsea, and aerospace.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in precision work, enjoys practical engineering tasks, and wants to develop their skills in additive manufacturing and production environments.
About the RoleWorking within the production department, you will play a key role in ensuring customer parts are produced, finished, and delivered to a high standard. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Washing, cleaning, and finishing 3D printed components to achieve high-quality surface finishes
  • Inspecting, checking, and packing customer parts ready for dispatch
  • Mixing and preparing resins and powders for production use
  • Maintaining machine cleanliness and carrying out routine maintenance tasks
  • Assisting with machine monitoring and general production operations
  • Using Magics software to prepare and orient customer 3D data for printing
About YouWe are looking for someone who is practical, reliable, and detail-focused. The ideal candidate will have:
  • Hands-on experience in engineering, manufacturing, model making, or a similar field
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • A proactive mindset and ability to work well within a team
  • Previous 3D printing experience (desirable but not essential)
