The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely arrivals and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. Candidates must possess strong driving skills, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and excellent organisational abilities to succeed in this position. Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial vehicle, including commercial vehicle driver licences, to deliver goods to various locations. Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimise time and fuel consumption. Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting, ensuring items are secured during transit. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery times or issues. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met. Assist with warehouse tasks such as stock organisation and inventory management when not on deliveries.
