3.5 Tonne Driver

Contract Personnel are pleased to be recruiting for a 3.5T Van Driver for our client based in central Norfolk.

Our client is an online furniture retailer, and the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering garden furniture across the UK in a panel van.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete up to 10-15 deliveries per day, including common routes to London and Birmingham.
• Early starts are typical, generally between 04:00 and 06:00. Shifts can be long, often exceeding 12 hours.
• You will perform one person deliveries, using a trolley for assistance.
• Delivies will involve heavy lifting and you must maintain a hard-working, reliable attitude.
• You must also provide excellent customer service, as this is a customer facing role.

Requirements:

• Due to the location of the role, candidates must have their own transport to reach the site, as public transport links do not service the area.

Drivers Must Hold:

• Full Valid Driving Licence with category B Entitlement
• An understanding of Road Traffic Laws
• Good local Geographical Knowledge
