The Best Connection Group are seeking an experienced Van Driver to join our well-established client, DHL Express, at their site based at Leeds for the busy seasonal period from November through to Christmas, with permanent opportunities for the right candidates.

• Great Pay: -14.73/hour
• Overtime at -21.38/hour after 45 hours worked
• 80 - 100 drops and collections per shift
• Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday mornings

Responsibilities:

• Performing pre/post vehicle checks and reporting any problems
• Maintaining accurate records and proof of delivery or collection
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
• Following all airport security procedures

Requirements:

As we work at an airport regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority, all applicants must:

• Pass a van driving assessment (no minimum years of experience needed)
• Complete a criminal record check (paid for by us)
• Have a 5-year work history that can be checked (gaps over 28 days need a gap reference)
• Provide a 5-year address history
• Have valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or ID card)

Licence/Certification:

• Full UK Driving Licence, [Category B] (required)
