Overview

Our client is seeking a 2nd Line Engineer/3rd Line - IT Support Engineer to be part of their growing team, based in Mayfair, London.Working Pattern

Participation in the on-call weekend rota is compulsory, once every month. You will be paid an additional £250.00 for the on-call shift. You will effectively be a standby employee on weekends to cover unexpected or emergency demand.Job Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for an IT professional with MS Server, Desktop, Active Directory and Networking skills to join a company promoting unique solutions and a hands-on approach.This position will provide a mixture of 2nd/3rd line service desk/remote support (some 1st line), field support and the installation of IT projects and managed services to their growing customer base.It is also essential to have a working knowledge and practical experience of the following:Microsoft Desktop and Office SystemsMicrosoft Server and Virtualisation Technologies, Active Directory Security and Administration, GPOWorking knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCPSupport of hardware, printers, desktops and Servers + laptopsEmail, Antivirus and Backup softwareNetworking knowledge regarding WAN, LAN, VLAN, VPN, WLAN, layer 2/3 switching, Firewalls and RoutersMobile devices/phones systemsKey Skills
