Our client, a small but rapidly growing MSP offering IT and web services, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their expanding team in Christchurch, near Bournemouth. Key Responsibilities:
- Providing 2nd line support to a diverse client base, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Managing and prioritising support requests through the ticketing system
- Assisting with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure
- Escalating complex issues to 3rd line support or specialist teams when necessary
- Offering guidance and support to junior members of the team
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery processes
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation of technical procedures and solutions
Job Requirements:
- Experience in providing 2nd line support within an MSP environment
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies
- Relevant IT qualifications or certifications are desirable
