PositionClient Delivery Lead – 2nd Line Network Engineer

A leading and pioneering IT Service Provider who deliver intricate solutions across Cloud, Connectivity, Communications and Cyber Security is looking for a 2nd Line Network Engineer to join them. This is a forward-thinking technology firm that values creativity, ownership, and professional development.

As a 2nd Line Network Engineer working a 24/7 rotating shift pattern (2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off), you’ll be at the heart of maintaining and supporting complex customer networks, ensuring issues are resolved swiftly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and resolving customer networking issues across a wide technical landscape

Managing incidents and service requests through to completion

Creating and maintaining technical documentation and diagrams

Supporting project delivery teams with the deployment of new solutions

Communicating effectively with clients via phone, email, and ticketing systems

Requirements

Working knowledge of switching and routing technologies (CCNA or JNCIS level)

Familiarity with protocols such as BGP, OSPF, STP, EIGRP etc

Experience with vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Meraki

Additional detailsHybrid role – 2 days on site per shift rota.
