2nd Line Engineer

Our client, a leading business in the IT sector is seeking a strong 2nd Line Engineer to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.Due to an exciting period of growth our client is looking to add a 2nd Line Engineer to their team, working closely with the existing Help Desk to support a broad range of clients with their technical faults and issues, both remotely and on-site.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years'' experience in an IT support role, ideally working on and managing 2nd Line support requests, where you are used to working with users of all levels, providing a high level of technical and customer service at all times, whilst working on a range of day-to-day tasks and project work.Due to the requirements of the role candidates will be required to drive and have access to their own vehicle.Key Responsibilities:Provide a high level of technical support to a broad range of clients on both dayto-day support tasks and project work, both remotely and on-siteBe the first point of contact for clientsAct as the escalation point for junior EngineersSolid networking understanding, including but not limited to WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls and switchesKnowledge of backup technologiesWork towards both individual and team KPIsEnsure a high level of service is provided and maintained to clients at all times from the Help Desk teamKey Experience:Minimum of 3 years'' experience in a technical support role, confident working up to 2nd Line levelGood ..... full job details .....
