2nd Line Support Engineer Contract Location: Hereford ( 1 day a week in office) Contract: 3 Months Rate: £180 £250 per day Job Type: Full-Time Contract About the Role Our client is looking for an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their IT Service Desk on an initial 3-month contract. You''ll provide professional, customer-focused 1st and 2nd line technical support across a large and varied user base, supporting desktop, mobile, hardware, software and network environments. This is a varied role offering exposure to a broad range of technologies and client environments, with the opportunity to contribute to IT projects and ongoing service improvements. What You''ll Do Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support via telephone and remote support Resolve incidents, problems and service requests within agreed SLAs Support desktop, laptop, mobile and other end-user devices Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues Support Windows desktop and server environments Administer user network and application accounts Install, configure and maintain software and desktop components Support networking, internet connectivity and back-office systems Assist with IT projects, deployments and technical changes Maintain accurate asset, licence and support documentation Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and external support organisations Identify recurring technical issues and contribute to service improvements Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the ..... full job details .....
