2D CAD Engineer/Estimator

Job Description: 2D CAD Engineer / Estimator Location: Dudley Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 per annum We are looking for a 2D CAD Engineer / Estimator to join our busy and expanding office team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for engineering design to contribute to a fast-paced, growing business. Key Responsibilities Produce accurate customer quotes using Lantek software (training provided). Read, interpret, and import engineering drawings. Create profile drawings using AutoCAD 2D or similar software. Communicate effectively with customers via email and phone. Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries and ensure smooth project flow. Recognize and understand various material types (e.g., S275, S355, CR4, 304, 316). About You Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment preferred. Previous use of Lantek software would be an advantage, but not essential. Ability to work to instruction, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Flexible and reliable, with a positive attitude toward teamwork.
