This long-standing company are looking for a 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator to work in their busy and expanding office. What s in it for you? Monday Thursday 8am 5pm Friday 8am 4:30pm 1 hour lunch breaks 20 days + Bank Holidays (Increases with service) Pension SchemeFree off-road parking The roles and responsibilities of a 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator: Producing quotes for customers using Lantek softwareReading and interpreting engineering drawings and producing profile drawings using an AutoCAD 2d type software package.Speaking to customers via email and phoneLiaising with other departments internally to resolve any problems.A basic understanding of material types such as but not limited to: Mild steel, stainless steel (S275, S355, CR4, 304, 316 etc.) Requirements of the 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator: Previous experience from an Engineering background and/or working with Lantek software would be an advantageAble to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and within a team.
