1st Line Support Engineer
1st Line Support Engineer - Solihull - 1 month contract - ASAP start We are seeking an experienced 1st Line Support Engineer for an on-site contract role based in Solihull. This is a hands-on support position providing first-line technical assistance to end users, resolving hardware and software issues, and supporting day-to-day IT operations within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have strong customer service skills, solid troubleshooting ability, and experience supporting Windows environments in an on-site capacity. Key Responsibilities Provide 1st line technical support to end users across desktop, laptop, and mobile devices Log, troubleshoot, and resolve IT incidents and service requests Support Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments Perform password resets, user account administration, and access requests Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues Escalate unresolved issues to 2nd/3rd line teams where required Assist with device builds, deployments, and hardware swaps Support meeting room and AV technology where needed Maintain accurate ticket updates and documentation within the ITSM system Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with users at all levels Required Skills andamp; Experience Previous experience in a 1st Line/IT Support/Service Desk role Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 Experience with Active Directory and user administration Basic ..... full job details .....
