Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced 18 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely delivering and collection pallets in the CA/LA postcodes, ensuring a timely and professional service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in commercial driving and delivery operations to utilise their skills within a dynamic environment. Duties Safely operate a 18 Tonne wagon, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or delays Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Requirements Valid driver''s licence with relevant category entitlement Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably within a delivery or logistics environment Knowledge of mechanical aspects of lorries and basic vehicle maintenance Strong communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and team members Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long periods on the roadThis role is ideal for motivated drivers seeking a position that combines operational responsibility with customer service excellence.Job Type: Full-timePay: £33,930.00 per yearBenefits: On-site parkingWork ..... full job details .....
