This is a consistent 1:1 role supporting a student throughout the school day, helping them access lessons, stay focused on their work and manage the demands of a busy secondary school environment. You''ll work closely with the student''s teachers and the school''s SEN team, following established strategies rather than being expected to work everything out yourself. The role will involve moving between classrooms throughout the day and supporting the student across different subjects. The successful candidate will need to be confident enough to step back when appropriate and encourage independence, while knowing when more direct support is needed.
