1:1 Year 2 Teaching Assistant - Hall GreenAspire People are currently recruiting for a caring, committed, and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Hall Green. This is a full-time position starting in September 2026 and continuing until July 2027, providing dedicated 1:1 support for a child in Year 2 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).The successful candidate will support a pupil with Skeletal Titin Gene Syndrome, a condition that impacts mobility. The child is academically working at age-related expectations and is fully engaged in classroom learning. The role will focus on ensuring the pupil can access all aspects of school life safely and independently, whilst providing physical support where required.Key Responsibilities: Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with physical needs. Support the child in accessing classroom learning and participating fully in school activities. Assist with mobility around the school site, including the use of a wheelchair and standing frame. Support the pupil with transitions throughout the school day, including moving between classrooms, interventions, and outdoor areas. Assist with toileting routines, including support getting to and from the toilet and on and off the toilet, whilst promoting dignity and independence.
