SEND Tutor - Stockton-on-Tees Location: Stockton-on-TeesJob Type: Part-timeSalary: £27-£32 per hourEmployer: Spencer Clarke Tutors SEND Tutor - Stockton-on-Tees Spencer Clarke Tutors are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Tutor to support learners in Stockton-on-Tees on a part-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide personalised 1:1 educational support to learners who may be unable to access mainstream education or require additional support with their learning. The Role As a SEND Tutor, you will provide tailored tuition either in the learner''s home or in a suitable public/community setting, depending on the learner''s needs. You will: Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition. Adapt lessons to meet individual SEND needs. Support learners to re-engage with education and build confidence. Help learners develop academically, socially and emotionally. Build positive and trusting relationships with learners and their families. Monitor progress and provide appropriate feedback. Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a tutor who: Has experience supporting children or young people with SEND. Has a teaching, tutoring or relevant educational background. Can adapt their teaching style to individual learning needs. Is patient, nurturing, reliable and resilient.
