      <description>Location: Barnsley | Salary: &amp;pound;100 - &amp;pound;110/day | Type: Temporary | We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil at a welcoming primary school in Barnsley. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the child access learning, develop confidence and achieve their full potential within the classroom environment.    Key Responsibilities:  Provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil during lessons and school activities  Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging learning opportunities  Support the childs academic, social and emotional development  Help manage behaviour positively and encourage independence  Adapt resources and activities to meet the pupils individual needs  Build positive relationships with parents, staff and external professionals  Support the pupil during breaktimes, lunchtimes or transitions where required  Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reviews    The Ideal Candidate Will Have:  Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in Key Stage 1  A patient, nurturing and positive approach  Strong communication and teamwork skills  An understanding of supporting children with additional needs/SEND (desirable)  A commitment to safeguar...</description>
