1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant - Year 11Location: Alternative Provision Pay: 117- 130 per day Full-Time Long-TermRemedy Education are looking for an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant / Support Worker to support a Year 11 student with SEMH and additional learning needs within an alternative provision.The student requires a calm, consistent and confident adult who can build trust, maintain clear boundaries and support both his learning and emotional regulation.The ideal candidate will:Have experience supporting secondary-aged pupils with SEMHBe confident managing challenging behaviour and using de-escalation strategiesBuild positive relationships while maintaining clear boundariesSupport focus, understanding and engagement with learningHelp the student manage frustration, conflict and emotional regulationEncourage independence rather than creating reliance on 1:1 supportExperience within alternative provision, PRU, SEMH or specialist settings would be highly beneficial.This role would suit an experienced SEMH TA, Behaviour Mentor, Learning Mentor or Youth Worker.If you have any questions please call (phone number removed) or ask for Dylan at Remedy Education. ..... full job details .....
