1:1 Teaching AssistantPart Time Term Time Only (Monday - Thursday)East GrinsteadWe are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school community in East Grinstead. This role is key in helping pupils achieve their full potential by supporting teaching and learning in the classroom.You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils individually and in groups, promoting independence, confidence, and inclusion while ensuring every child can access the curriculum and enjoy a positive learning experience.As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will be supporting two children with EHCP''s. One of those is in Year 2 and one in Year 5.Teaching Assistant Responsibilities Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils'' progressHelp implement strategies to support all learners, including those with SENDEncourage pupil participation, inclusion, and positive behaviourSupport classroom management and maintain a safe learning environmentObserve pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staffSupervise classes when requiredQualifications and ExperienceGCSEs (or equivalent) in English and MathsRelevant qualification (Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare) or willingness to work towards oneExperience working with children in an educational settingSkills and KnowledgeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGood organisational and ICT skillsUnderstanding of safeguarding practicesAbility to adapt ..... full job details .....
