1:1 Teaching Assistant – Birmingham
Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term | Start Date: After Easter Half Term
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)

PK Education is looking for a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school team in Birmingham. This role involves working closely with an individual pupil to support their learning, development, and wellbeing within the classroom.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to a pupil with specific learning needs
• Work alongside the class teacher and SENCo to implement individual learning plans
• Support the pupil’s academic, social, and emotional development
• Adapt learning materials to suit the pupil’s requirements
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• Knowledge of Special Educational Needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech & language difficulties)
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
