1:1 Teaching Assistant

PK Education is recruiting a compassionate and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 7 student with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in a young person s education, confidence and overall well-being.The Role: Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 7 student with SEMH needs Support the student in class, helping them access learning and engage with lessons Assist in developing strategies to manage anxiety and promote positive behaviour Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and parents to ensure consistent support Promote independence, confidence and social skills in a safe and structured environment The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or similar needs in a school setting Patience, empathy and strong communication skills Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the student s needs Confidence managing challenging situations calmly and safely Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures ..... full job details .....
