1:1 Teaching AssistantLocation: Kenilworth, CoventryPay Rate: £500 - £525 per weekStart Date: ASAPContract: Monday - Friday, long-term temp to perm.Long Term Futures are recruiting for a patient and resilient Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil with SEMH and autism in a welcoming and supportive primary school in Kenilworth, Coventry.This position is a long-term role and for the right candidate there is an opportunity to be made permanent. The school is looking for a proactive, accommodating and positive person who is looking to excel and become a crucial part of their team. Key Responsibilities:Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil with SEMH and AutismSupport the pupil''s academic progress as well as their emotional wellbeing and personal developmentImplement strategies to support behaviour in a calm, consistent and structured mannerReinforce learning across a range of subjects through tailored supportEncourage focus, confidence and a positive attitude to learningAdvise and support in creating a calm and supportive learning environmentSupport transitions throughout the school day Ideal Candidate Profile:A Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning Qualification, or relevant subjectExperience working with primary-aged pupilsExperience supporting children with SEMH and/or autism is desirableA background supporting students in a classroom or similar settingKnowledge of behaviour management strategies or trainingA co-operative, patient ..... full job details .....
