1:1 Teaching Assistant - Grantham Location: Grantham Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time (Term Time Only) Salary: 82.08 to 96.96 per daySimply Education is working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Grantham to recruit a committed and nurturing 1:1 Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and thrive in a mainstream classroom environment.The Role: You will be providing 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning or behavioural needs. The role requires consistency, patience, and the ability to adapt to the child''s individual educational and emotional requirements. The position is based within a primary setting and may include supporting across various subjects and activities throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities:Work closely with a designated pupil to support their academic and emotional development.Follow and help implement the pupil''s Individual Education Plan (IEP).Provide in-class support as well as individual interventions where appropriate.Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure the pupil is fully supported.Assist with classroom activities, resource preparation, and progress tracking.Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
