Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Contract Type: Full-time – Temp to Perm
Salary: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

A vibrant and nurturing primary school in Aylesbury is seeking a motivated, empathetic, and forward-thinking 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to children in Year 2 with autism and communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities:Deliver personalised 1:1 support tailored to individual EHCP targets
Utilise tools such as visual timetables, PECS, and sensory-based activities to enhance communication and engagement
Collaborate effectively with the class teacher, SENCO, and a wider multi-disciplinary team to drive progress
Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive social interaction through consistent, compassionate support
Previous experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or speech, language, and communication needs
Strong understanding of positive behaviour support and differentiated learning strategies
A calm, adaptable, and solution-focused mindset with a proactive approach to challenges
