Contract Type: Full-time – Temp to Perm
Salary: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

A vibrant and nurturing primary school in Aylesbury is seeking a motivated, empathetic, and forward-thinking 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to children in Year 2 with autism and communication challenges.

• Deliver personalised 1:1 support tailored to individual EHCP targets

• Utilise tools such as visual timetables, PECS, and sensory-based activities to enhance communication and engagement

• Collaborate effectively with the class teacher, SENCO, and a wider multi-disciplinary team to drive progress

• Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive social interaction through consistent, compassionate support

• Previous experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or speech, language, and communication needs

• Strong understanding of positive behaviour support and differentiated learning strategies

• A calm, adaptable, and solution-focused mindset with a proactive approach to challenges

• A genuine passion for inclusive education and empowering pupils to reach their full potential

• A collaborative, forward-thinking SEN team and visionary leadership
