1:1 Teaching Assistant - Stafford - Start Date: As soon as possible We are seeking a committed and nurturing 1:1 Teaching Assistant who is ready to jump into the classroom supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis ensuring their needs are met by fostering their social-emotional development, building confidence, all while maintaining a supportive and welcoming environment.This opportunity is the perfect fit for a 1:1 teaching assistant who desires a rewarding role within the education sector, supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis. You will play a vital role in supporting a child throughout their time within mainstream school; you must be prepared to build a trusting relationship with the child quickly in order to provide individualised support to the pupil. You will be working within a supportive primary school in the heart of Stafford, through a reputable and supportive supply agency.The role includes:Providing 1:1 support for a student with SEND, ensuring that individual needs are met by fostering their social development, helping to build independence, building confidence, whilst maintaining a supportive environment for the pupil to grow and develop.To collaborate with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver targeted interventions.Closely monitor pupil''s progress, celebrate achievements and work on areas for improvement.Comfortable communicating with SENDCo, parents and external professionals.Experience working with SEND students in a school environment is desirable.We are looking ..... full job details .....
