Your primary aim will be to tailor learning materials to their speed, manage conditions like Autism (ASD), ADHD, or Speech Delays, and safeguard their well-being.Key Responsibilities:Delivering targeted, 1:1 academic tasks adapted specifically to the child''s learning pace.De-escalating frustrations and implementing positive behavioural support techniques.Helping the child navigate busy transition times, assemblies, and playground social tasks.Collaborating closely with the class teacher and the school SENCO to monitor EHCP targets.Requirements and Qualifications:Prior experience working 1:1 with children displaying complex needs or challenging behaviours.Backgrounds in education support, youth mentoring, or residential care are highly transferable.Exceptional emotional intelligence, resilience, and a naturally patient core.Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).How to ..... full job details .....
