SEND and SEMH Tutors - HerefordshirePhase: Primary / Secondary / SEND / SEMHWorking arrangement: In-personQuantum Scholars is looking for supportive, patient and experienced SEND/SEMH Tutors to work with children and young people across Herefordshire. These are in-person tutoring roles and are not online work.The roles will involve providing personalised educational support to students who may have SEND and/or SEMH needs and would benefit from a flexible, individualised approach to learning. Tutors will be expected to build positive and trusting relationships with students, adapt their teaching and support to meet individual needs, and help young people develop their confidence, engagement and progress.We are looking for tutors who are passionate about supporting young people who may have struggled within a traditional school environment and who can provide a calm, consistent and encouraging approach to education.The role may involveDelivering one-to-one or small-group tuition to primary and/or secondary-aged studentsSupporting students across a range of subjects, depending on experienceSupporting students with SEND and/or SEMH needsPlanning engaging, accessible and personalised learning activitiesAdapting teaching approaches to suit different abilities, learning needs and levels of engagementBuilding positive, consistent and trusting relationships with studentsHelping students develop confidence, resilience, independence and positive attitudes towards learningSupporting ..... full job details .....
