Pay Rate: -2532 per hour
Location: Derbyshire
Hours: Flexible, dependent on learner requirements
Contract: Part-time
Spencer Clarke Tutors are looking for an experienced and compassionate 1:1 SEND Tutor to support children and young people across Derbyshire through Local Authority-funded education programmes.
You will provide personalised tuition to learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) who may be accessing alternative provision, EOTAS, or require additional support to remain engaged with their education.

• Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition tailored to each learner.
• Adapt lessons to meet individual SEND needs and learning styles.
• Develop positive, supportive relationships with children and young people.
• Help learners build confidence, engagement and independence.
• Monitor progress and provide clear session feedback.
• Support learners with their academic, social and personal development.

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Teaching qualification, tutoring experience or relevant educational experience.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to differentiate learning and adapt sessions to individual needs.
• Experience supporting learners with additional needs, SEMH or barriers to education is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential) If you do not have one we can send a link to apply for one as part of the process.
• Right to work in the UK.

• -2532 per hour, depending on experience and funding available.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
