The student has a complex profile of Communication and Interaction, Cognition and Learning, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, including a diagnosed Language Disorder with moderate to severe receptive and expressive language difficulties. He has previously found mainstream education challenging and can experience anxiety, frustration and emotional distress when faced with academic demands, uncertainty or situations where he feels misunderstood.
