Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding 1:1 support role within a welcoming and supportive primary school?

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a lovely primary school in Hampstead that is looking to appoint a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a caring school community where staff are highly valued and teamwork is at the heart of everything they do. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the child''s learning, wellbeing, and personal development throughout the school day.

The Role:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs.
• Supporting the child''s learning, emotional regulation and social development.
• Assisting with personal care when required in a respectful and dignified manner.
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support staff to implement strategies and interventions.
• Creating a nurturing, positive and engaging learning environment where the pupil can thrive.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting.
• Confidence providing personal care as part of the role.
• A calm, patient and personable approach with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.

To Join Us and Be Successful in This Role You Will Need:

• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs within a primary school.
• Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis.
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
• The legal right to work in the UK.
• Satisfactory references covering the last two years.
