About the Role:

A nurturing mainstream primary school in Westcroft is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 2 with autism and speech and language needs. The role requires a calm, consistent adult who can follow therapy-led strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
andbull; Provide individualised support to meet EHCP targets
andbull; Use visual aids, PECS, and sensory resources as part of daily learning
andbull; Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
andbull; Foster emotional regulation and social interaction skills

Requirements:
andbull; Experience supporting children with ASD or communication difficulties
andbull; Understanding of positive behaviour support and early interventions
andbull; Patience, creativity, and a caring approach
