1:1 SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: HalesowenWeekly Pay: 500- 525Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (Term Time Only)Start Date: ASAPContract: Long-Term, Temp-to-PermLong Term Futures are seeking an experienced and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive primary school in Halesowen.This is a full-time role providing dedicated 1:1 support to pupils across KS1 and KS2 with a range of additional needs. Pupils may present with Autism (ASD), ADHD, complex needs, communication difficulties and behavioural regulation needs, including children who are non-verbal or have speech and language needs.You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO and wider support team to provide consistent and individualised support, helping pupils access learning, communicate effectively, regulate their emotions and develop greater confidence and independence.ResponsibilitiesProvide dedicated 1:1 SEN support to pupils across KS1 and KS2Support pupils with ASD, ADHD and complex additional needsWork effectively with non-verbal pupils and children with speech and language needsAdapt classroom activities to suit individual learning and communication needsSupport pupils with emotional and behavioural regulationRecognise potential triggers and use appropriate de-escalation strategiesUse visual communication, structured routines and sensory approaches where appropriateSupport communication, social interaction and positive relationshipsEncourage independence, confidence and ..... full job details .....
