Job Description:
- Provideandnbsp;1:1 supportandnbsp;to a pupil withandnbsp;SEN, helping them access the curriculum and achieve theirandnbsp;individual learning goals
- Implementandnbsp;tailored strategiesandnbsp;andandnbsp;intervention programmesandnbsp;under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
- Foster aandnbsp;positive, nurturing relationshipandnbsp;that promotesandnbsp;confidence,andnbsp;independence, andandnbsp;emotional regulation
- Support the pupilandrsquo;sandnbsp;social interaction,andnbsp;communication, andandnbsp;behavioural development
- Liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensureandnbsp;consistent and effective support
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children withandnbsp;SEN, particularly in aandnbsp;1:1 setting (desirable but not essential)
- Be aandnbsp;calm,andnbsp;empathetic, andandnbsp;resilientandnbsp;practitioner with a strong understanding ofandnbsp;inclusive practice
- Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;child development, andandnbsp;positive behaviour support
- Possess excellentandnbsp;communicationandnbsp;andandnbsp;teamwork skills
- Be enthusiastic aboutandnbsp;professional developmentandnbsp;andandnbsp;reflective practice
- Hold or be willing to obtain anandnbsp;enhanced DBS check
