1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
to support a Year 3 pupil in our friendly primary school in Camden. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in special educational needs support while making a real difference to a child''s educational journey.Working exclusively during morning sessions, you''ll provide tailored one-to-one support to help your assigned pupil access the curriculum and develop their learning skills in a supportive classroom environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil with special educational needsAssist with curriculum access and learning activities under teacher guidanceSupport the pupil''s social, emotional, and academic developmentHelp implement individualized learning strategies and interventionsWork collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCOMaintain accurate records of pupil progress and achievementsFoster independence and confidence in learningSupport behavioural management strategies as neededAvailability Monday-Friday mornings during term time is non-negotiableGenuine interest in supporting children with special educational needsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPatience, empathy, and resilience when working with childrenAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamReliable and punctual attendanceEnhanced Child Workforce DBS clearance (essential)Two professional referencesIdeal CandidatesThis position is perfect for:Undergraduate students
