1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant - College-Aged Student (ASAP Start)Location: Manningtree (and surrounding areas) Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm Pay: 100- 120 per day Driving licence and own vehicle essentialA supportive and forward-thinking education provider is seeking a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to work with a college-aged student with ASD and a history of mental health challenges, including eating disorders and negative body image. This is a highly rewarding role that focuses on helping the student access the activities they enjoy, build confidence, and engage with the community in a positive, structured way.About the RoleThis is not a classroom-based position. Instead, the LSA will support the student to access their hobbies, interests and wellbeing-focused activities, which may include:Hair, beauty and makeup sessionsOutdoor walks and nature-based activitiesFitness and gym sessionsPilates and other structured exerciseCommunity-based sessions linked to personal developmentThe aim is to provide calm, consistent, person-centred support to help the student develop independence, confidence and emotional stability.Key Details8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to FridayASAP startRole involves regular local travel; therefore, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essentialMileage and the cost of adding business insurance will be coveredThe student is Manningtree-based, so proximity or easy commute is preferredWhat the School is Looking ForExperience supporting ..... full job details .....
