Job Title: 1:1 Tutor - SEMH and Learning Support Location: Egham (Home-based) Salary: 25 - 27 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: 15 hours per weekAbout the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate, patient and resilient 1:1 Tutor to support a 9-year-old pupil in a home-based setting in Egham.The pupil presents with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and requires a consistent, nurturing approach to support engagement with learning and emotional regulation.This role is ideal for someone who values relationship-based practice and can provide a calm, structured environment. You will deliver personalised sessions tailored to the pupil''s individual needs, with a focus on building trust, supporting emotional regulation and re-engaging with learning.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver bespoke 1:1 sessions tailored to SEMH needsBuild a strong, trusting relationship to support engagementSupport emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategiesAdapt learning materials to meet individual needs and abilityProvide a structured and consistent approach to learningWork closely with parents and external professionalsTrack and report on student progressThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Experience working with children with SEMH needsStrong understanding of emotional regulation strategiesA calm, patient and resilient natureAbility to build positive, trusting relationshipsStrong behaviour management skillsExperience in tutoring, SEN, youth work or similar (desirable)Relevant ..... full job details .....
