1:1 Tutor - Chester Location: Chester Hours: 5-15 hours per week Start Date: September 2026 Duration: Ongoing Prospero Teaching are currently looking for an experienced 1:1 Tutor to support a learner in Chester. This is a flexible opportunity for an educator who can create personalised learning sessions, build rapport with young people and help them make meaningful academic progress. Key Duties Deliver individualised tuition Establish appropriate learning objectives Plan and prepare engaging sessions Support development across core curriculum areas Identify gaps and areas requiring intervention Adapt teaching strategies to suit the learner Encourage motivation and positive learning habits Monitor and report on progress The Ideal Candidate Previous experience teaching or tutoring young people Strong knowledge of core curriculum subjects Experience delivering 1:1 support Flexible and learner-focused approach Strong communication and organisational skills QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching experience desirable Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one Right to Work in the UK Two professional references relating to work with children Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business and education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy. ..... full job details .....
