Role Purpose The post holder will assist in the educational and social development of a pupil (on 1:1 basis) with special educational needs, under the direction of the SENDCo and teaching staff. Key Responsibilities Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their individual targets. Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor progress against agreed objectives. Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCo and external professionals to support the pupil''s learning and wellbeing. Promote independence, confidence, social skills and positive behaviour. Assist with classroom preparation, learning resources and maintaining an engaging learning environment.
