1-1 Teaching Assistant Bank staff

We are currently looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work within primary schools in Hemel Hempstead and Watford.

This role is ideal for someone who is patient, supportive, and passionate about helping children succeed in their learning. Role Details:

• Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant

• Location: Hemel Hempstead & Watford

• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

• Contract: Full-time, term time only

You will be working within a primary school classroom, providing 1:1 support to pupils who may need extra help with their learning. Some children may have additional needs, so the role requires someone who is calm, encouraging, and able to adapt their support to each child''s individual needs.

Your responsibilities may include

• Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and tasks

• Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour

• Providing additional support for pupils with SEND where required

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or within a school environment.
