This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs , who understands that behaviour can often be a form of communication. The role will involve providing consistent 1:1 support to help the pupil: • Regulate their emotions and behaviour • Develop positive and trusting relationships • Engage successfully with learning • Access the KS2 curriculum at an appropriate level • Develop confidence, resilience and independence • Work towards individual EHCP outcomes We are particularly interested in candidates with experience within SEMH settings, PRUs, Alternative Provision, specialist schools or behaviour support roles .
