My client, a local groundworks contractor, is looking to recruit a Site Engineer to work on a student accomodation project in Central Bristol. The building involves a multistorey steel frame extension as well as QA/ Setting out on existing building. The successful candidate will have experience in carrying out engineering duties across multiple projects accurately, demonstrating the highest health and safety standards, and have commercial awareness to ensure work is carried out within budget. Role and duties: • Quality Assurance • ITP''s (inspection and test plan) • Setting out • Driving programme at a site level. • Keeping accurate QA records of site progress. • Reporting weekly progress to Construction Manager and planning team. • Working with the commercial team to build the scheme within budget Experience/Qualifications: • CSCS Card • HNC/HND or Equivalent • On site experience as an Engineer including setting out and QA responsibilities • Prior use of Microsoft Office Packages • Use of AutoCAD Rate - Between £300 - £400 per day - CIS / Limited payments available Please apply below and get in touch with Heather Duncan for more information. ..... full job details .....
